The Magic City Rail system is a new public transportation system put in place by the City of Birmingham, Alabama aimed at creating a more efficient transportation process throughout the city. The target audiences of the new system include all citizens of central Alabama, and working professionals who commute to the city for work. Common uses for this system are targeted at audiences who not only work in the city, but wish to take advantage of the entertainment and commerce of the Birmingham metropolitan area. The visual system of The Magic City Rail will reflect the progressive direction the city of Birmingham is headed, as well as reflecting the rich heritage of the industrial train systems in Birmingham.
